Baked stuffed whole fish?

I remember a recipe I saw on TV a few years ago on "Let's go fishing." It was a whole fish stuffed with slices of Portuguese sausage, onion and mayonnaise. It was great. How to prepare your whole baked fish stuffed?

Ooooooooooooow. A lot of good recipes for this dish! My favorites include stuffed with lobster or crab:) Here's one you'll like: ROCK baked fish stuffed with crab IMPERIAL 1-3 lbs. haddock 2 slices of bacon 2 tbsp. 2 tablespoons butter. Lemon juice TOPPING: 1 / 2 pound crab meat 1 egg 1 tsp. salt 1 / 2 tsp. pepper 2 slices bread (crumbs) Mix all ingredients. Place in cavity of fish. Place bacon strips on top of fish. Sprinkle lemon juice over fish. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour uncovered, cook until browned. ===================================== ========= Fish BAKED fill This recipe is so simple that you can use a variety of fish. Example: Salmon Scallops Flounder Catfish Cod Scrod Sole (wonderful fillings) FILLING: Blend Ritz crackers (1 cup). Add: A few chopped walnuts (3 tbsp.) 1 tbsp. 4 tablespoons parsley. butter, melted Filling sole: Mix everything together. One or two drops of sherry adds a nice touch. Place the single plane out. Place filling in the center. Double stuffed fish over and place sealed side down. Proceed with butter Lemon drizzle on top. No need to add more cookies on top. Bake up. Coat a glass or a pan with butter flavored Individual Pam. Place fish in dish. Melt enough butter with a tablespoon or so of lemon juice to drizzle on the amount of fish that you have cooking. Sprinkle with crushed Ritz crackers. Spray with butter flavor Pam. Sprinkle with a little paprika for color. Bake in an oven at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes depending on thickness of fish. ========================= ====================== COLA STUFFED 12 lobster lobster tails, medium size 1 pounds fresh crab meat in the fish market (it comes in a pack) 1 / 2 c. Italian bread crumbs 1 / 2 c. olive oil 1 / 2 tsp. salt and pepper 1 / 2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. Saute crabmeat with olive oil, pepper and breadcrumbs. Set aside. Broil lobster tails for about 5 minutes. Once heated, divide each tail in half. Place filling in center of each lobster tail and roast or bake for about 15 minutes. Make sure the tail is cooked and flaky. ========================================= ======= BAKED FISH WITH SPINACH FILLING 4 tbsp. 3 tablespoons butter. chopped shallots 1 / 2 c. cooked fresh spinach 2 1 / 2 c. fresh bread crumbs 2-4 tbsp. cream 1 / 4 tsp. lemon juice 1 / 2 tsp. Squeeze spinach salt pepper dry. Melt the butter (using stainless steel) and cook the shallots. Add spinach and cook at high heat to evaporate moisture. In a bowl add the bread crumbs, cream, lemon juice, salt and pepper. FISH: 4-5 pounds. White fish 2 Tbsp. Wash the melted white wine butter and dried fish, things with spinach and lace with string. Brush with melted butter. Place on folded sheet for pan fish can be lifted. Melt butter and white wine. Baste the fish 5-7 minutes. Bake 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Remove the fish, reduce the sauce and pour over fish. Secure opening with picks or skewers. Place fish in shallow pan greased baking. Brush melted butter and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until fish. Sauce: Mix ingredients in a bowl. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes. Add the wine and let simmer a few minutes. Add the fish. Serves 8. ==== ============================================== BAKED red fish sour cream 1 red snapper, dressed (3 or 4 lbs.) 1 1 / 2 tsp. 2 tablespoons salt. melted fat or oil of sour cream filling (found below) Clean, wash and dry fish. Spray inside and out with salt. Stuff fish loosely. Close the opening with small skewers or toothpicks. Place fish in a greased baking tray. Brush with oil. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees for 40-60 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Baste occasionally with the fat and stir to serve skewers. Makes 6 servings. Cream FILLING: 3 / 4 cup chopped celery 1 / 2 c. chopped onion 1 / 4 cup melted fat or oil 1 quart. dry bread cubes 1 / 2 c. sour cream 1 / 4 cubes, 2 tablespoons of lemon peel. grated lemon peel 1 tsp. 1 teaspoon paprika. Cook celery salt and onion in fat until tender. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Fill about a quarter ago.
