What is a good sauce for Fish Cakes?
I am making Cod Fish Cakes tonight and want to know if there is a good sauce recipe out there.
Tarragon Tartar Sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sweet relish
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons drained capers, rinsed
1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon (or 1 tsp dry)
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Stir together mayonnaise, relish, lemon juice, capers, tarragon, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container up to one week.
makes 1 1/4 cups

Remoulade Sauce
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/4 cup chopped green onions, white and green parts
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice + zest of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon coarse-ground mustard
Few dashes Tabasco
Kosher salt to taste
Mix all well. Store in fridge until ready to serve.
