Fish And Chips Restaurant

Basic Probability help?
Suppose that in a market study has found that in a fall Saturday afternoon 15% of adult men enjoy sports programming on the network One 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 18% are on the network C 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and 7% watch both networks. For simplicity assume that viewers of these programs are sure to see ads if they are watching a program. If n 'Chips Fish Restaurants advertise only on the C network programming during the sports, (a) what is the probability that the ad is being seen by a randomly selected adult male, (b) What is the probability if the two are announced networks? (C) In case of advertising on both networks, which is the probability that an ad can only be seen on the network?
qa P [see C] = 18% as P [ad seen] = 18% ———- qb P [ad seen] = P [A or C] = P [A] + P [C] – P] [AC = 15% + 18% - 7% = 26% ---------- qc P [ad seen only in A] = P [A] – P [AC] = 15% – 7% = 8% ——–
